place array @ absolute address

what do you think of adding support to do something like the following:

 

char repeat_buttons @ 0x1e00[] = { 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 };

 

The reason why this would be useful in my circumstance is that I'd like to be able to overwrite the memory through a bootloader.  I could do it by declaring a series of absolute addresses but thought the above would be nicer.
