pascal editing

Recommended Posts

I know that this is for C, but there doesn't seem to be any more appropriate topics. I have just tried to start using Picant, set the editor to P2C (pascal), and entered a program. When I save it it saves it as XXX.c. I tried to save it as XXX.pas, and I got XXX.pas.c. I tried to save it as XXX.pas with a text editor, and it read in as XXX.pas.txt. In the "save as" dialog box, there are only two choices; C files (*.c), and all files (*.*). But even when I save as "all files, it still put a ".c" on! Is there a trick, or is the pascal defunct?
