Missing directive for the preprocessor?

Recommended Posts

Guest Petros

On Linux system you can use GCC GNU Compiler preprocessor. Just type

gcc -P -C -E source_file.c -osource_file.C

and its all done. In source_file.C you 'll find the result of any preprocessing directive.

Have a look to

GNU project home page

Regards

Petros

#ifdef / #endif usage example:

// at top of file:
#define _DEFINED_1

// in code:
#ifdef _DEFINED_1
if (somthing) execute_this;
#endif

Cheers,

Joe
