Sourceboost V6.70

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

The V6.70 version is long awaited.

Adding function pointers really took some time, they work with the regular call stack or software call stack.

We also added BoostBasic integration into MPLAB.

Please see the version log for details of bug fixeds and other changes.

Download page is here.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback and bug reports.

Regards

Dave

As of right now 17:21 Pacific Daylight Time the web page does not have a link to SourceBoost 6.70.  :P

But it is HERE:

sourceboostv670.zip

sourceboostv670.exe

Maybe thats because I added this post while the web site was being updated :P.

Regards

Dave

I'm using 6.70. Function pointers work but I am struggling to get an array of function pointers to work. Is it possible ? and if it is, how come this doesn't work.

//this should declare an array of 10 function pointers
int (*funcArray[10])(char, char);

Thanks

Peter

Function pointer arrays are not yet supported :P

I moved to another PC yesterday and installed 6.7 instead of the 6.6 I have been using.

The problem is that an application that just fitted in a 16F648 does no longer fit; overfilled by more than 200 words if I remembered well. Are there perhaps other options I need to use?

As a reference I suppose you could use the project i have sent you a few weeks ago regarding the strange linker error.

A minor problem in V6.70 does make code that uses pointers slightly larger. Please use V6.60, until V6.80 is releaseed.
