system.h ?

Recommended Posts

I have been looking at some of the example programs. Some use multiple files and include a file

#include

What is system.h? I could not find this header file anywhere in C2C or the examples.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to be stupid but I'm not sure I understand.

Do you mean system.h should contain a path to my mplab directory for the pic include file?

Also, I was unable to find the link /PicantIDE/include.

The version might be the issue. I'm using an evaluation copy of an older 4.x version I downloaded awhile ago. Is system.h only in 5.x?

I'm trying to decide which compiler to purchase. I would like to go with CCS because of the documentation and included functions etc. etc. but the price is a bit steep so I'm here looking at C2C.

I would like to go with CCS because of the documentation...

What do you miss in the C2C documentation?

Pavel

Well an explanation of system.h in the documentation would be nice.

In general it seems very sparse and lacks detailed examples or tutorials. I know there are some example programs on the web site. If there are version issues with the examples, that would be good to note. The compiler document doesn't seem to be up to date. This is not clear, I am not sure but that is the impression.

BTW: Overall, I like C2C, if I didn't I wouldn't bother to ask the question... Thanks for the reply.
