Wizard bugs

Recommended Posts

I like the wizard from picant, but it would be better if it worked.

-It does not include code for timer1 and timer2

-in pwm_dc_setup, ccp1con &= 0xE7;

should be replaced with ccp1con &= 0x0C;

These problems have been fixed. I will release wizard patch soon.

I found a better solution, I wrote my own picant wizard!Wizard.zip

feel free to download it!

Your wizard looks interesting. If you are interested to really integrate it into IDE I can send you the description of interface between PicAntIDE and wizard dll.

Pavel

The newer wizard in 5.2.2 is much better, but the I2C hardware still does not make any functions.

It would also be nice if I could choose the option not to make that I8_task_counter.

I would like to know how to integrate my wizard into picant, but it is written in Delphi, is that a problem?

Yes that's a problem. The API between IDE and Wizard uses some MFC objects. A workaround may be in creating a "buffer" dll that will be put between IDE and your Wizard dll and that will convert MFC-dependant API into another API that Delphi can understand.

copy and pase works fine for me!

Copy/paste works fine when project has one file. When wizard starts generating several files copy/paste will become painful.

Very nice of you. I like this kind of tools. Code generated is simple and clear. I hope you expand chip coverage. Cut and paste is not a big problem for me.
