Bug When Posting In This Forum...

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd mention this... It's not related to SourceBoost, BoostC, etc...

Twice, after clicking the "post" button, I'd get returned to a completely blank screen. The source of the html shows:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">

<HTML><HEAD>

<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD>

<BODY></BODY></HTML>

And that's it. I thought it was a problem with Mozilla after my first post (which I had thought didn't make it through since it didn't show up in the forums) so I posted again using IE and got what should have happened: The message "a moderator will check..." and then got redirected back to the forums.

I made a third post using IE and got that blank screen again, so I know it's not the browser at fault.

Maybe this happened because I moved your topic from general to bug report forum and at the same time deleted same topic from bug report forum. So far forum worked ok for me.

Pavel

It happened when I created this topic as well... The only thing I can think of is that I use a proxy server... (squid). Although I've never had a conflict with squid and any other web site, there may be some issue involved here. I do know that after clicking on the post button, there is a fairly long pause before I get the blank screen. Perhaps a php timeout?
