C++ and PIC16F874

Recommended Posts

First of all, does it this message (with the pic16f874):

--------CLIP---------

Warning: Current target has multiple register banks but doesn't have a common (mapped) register area among register banks. This may cause incorrect code generation for C++ sources.

--------CLIP---------

Mean that I cannot use C++ sources for the PIC at all? Is there any way to bypass the warning without changing the pic or compiler to pure C?

Secondly, the C++ compiler throws following exception:

The C++ code on the targets with no common bank area may or may not work. The best way is to other target that has such common area.

Secondly, the C++ compiler throws following exception:

Can you mail me (support@picant.com) a zipped project that causes this exception and description what to do to reproduce the problem.

Regards,

Pavel
