fungling

Hi, I'm a university student in Malaysia who undertaking a project that 'Using a graphic module lcd to display the ECG (Electrocardiograph) waveform". I'm going to use a microcontroller to connect with a Toshiba t6963c onboard LCD controller. Does the microcontroller --> PIC16F873 suitable in this project? My maintain is to display the waveform(signal). Kindly to request your opinions. Thanks.
