Hi all,

I'm new to working with PICs/SourceBoost so hopefully this will be an easy question to answer for someone.

How i can porting the #use fast_io from MPLAB to SourceBoost ?

I will get this error:

failure

I:\BoostC\mp3\mp3.c(6): error: function has undefined return type

I:\BoostC\mp3\mp3.c(6): error: failure

Thank You

#include <system.h>
#use fast_io(A)
#use fast_io(B)
#use fast_io(C)
#use rs232(baud=9600, xmit=PIN_A0)

fast_io is a directive to the CCS PIC C compiler. It control the behaviour of the CCS compiler for generating code to the I/O ports.

SourceBoost does not need this directive as it is up to the users code to change I/O directions of the pin. In other words - CCS's #use fast_io is effectively the default behaviour of SourceBoost. To port your code just comment out the #use fast_io statements.
