This compiler looks very interesting. I will download it later today, but just in case I won't see the answers, let me ask:

Is this a "tokenized" Basic? (Similar to PICbasic.) Because my understanding is that the token lookup is a drag on execution speed, as compared to a normal C compiler. Though it probably saves space.


If it compiiles directly to ASM (much preferred), can I view the ASM result? This is extremely helpful in tightening speed-critical code portions by pasting the ASM back into the source in-line and tweaking it.

The Basic is compiled just like BoostC, and yes you have access to the asm code.

It is not interpreted, so there is no drag on execution.
