Preprocessor Crash

Recommended Posts

It doesn't crash with this:

#ifdef OPT

#pragma OPTIMIZE "a"

#endif

My attitude with software is that it should never crash under any circumstances. If a programmer does something stupid, it should be able to identify the error and report the offending line number rather than a window telling you to sniff for the smoke.

Yes you are quite right. Normally this kind of thing is the symptom of something else below the surface that is not as it should be.

So thanks for the report.

The work around for now is:

So dont do it then!

;)
