Hi People,

I'm having problems using the "new" operator to allocate memory.

The code below throws up a "Missing semicolon" error.

Can anyone let me know what I'm doing wrong??

I'm using BoostC++ ver 6.70

Many Thanks

Tim

#include <system.h>

#include "Testing New.h"

#include <system.h>

#include <stdio.h>

#include <stdlib.h>

#include <string.h>

#include <memory.h>

void main()

{

char *buffer = new char[ 15 ];

}

new and delete are not available in BoostC++ V6.70, they are however in the next release. For now use alloc and free.

Dave
