Unspecified Compiler Error If Const Or Volatile Used In Typedef

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

BoostC ver7.01

PIC18F2525

The following code which worked with HITECH produces an "error: failure" message.

Change const to volatile and you get the same error.

Remove the const altogether and it compiles ok.

//**********************

#include <system.h>

typedef const char * pcc;

pcc ChrPtr;

void main(void)

{

char c;

c = *ChrPtr;

}

//************************

Thanks,
