Boostc Computer Bug...

Recommended Posts

Hey Pavel,

This code compiles fine with GCC.

#include <system.h>

struct ConvertThis
 int arrayOne[15];
 int *pArrayTwo[15];

void main()
 struct ConvertThis *pArrayConvertThis[3];
 int i,j;
 pArrayConvertThis[i]->pArrayTwo[j] = &(pArrayConvertThis[i]->arrayOne[j]);

The error:

compilertest.c(15:37): error: can't convert 'struct struct ConvertThis**' to 'signed int*'

If I replace the 'i's and 'j's with their actual values, things compile correctly.

Btw, in case you were wondering, these are the flags I use with gcc:

-Wall -W -O -Wno-div-by-zero -Wdeclaration-after-statement -Wundef -Wendif-labels -Wshadow -Wpointer-arith -Wbad-function-cast -Wcast-qual -Wcast-align -Wwrite-strings -Wconversion -Waggregate-return -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wmissing-noreturn -Wpadded -Wredundant-decls -Wnested-externs -Wunreachable-code -Winline -Wlong-long -pedantic -ansi -funsigned-char

Oops.. noticed that the error I posted was for something else.. I've edited this document to show the correct error. Also, this is for 1.7Alpha
